Alpacas Luke and King Kong visit care home clients

Today we had a special visit from two very charming and fluffy alpacas. Our clients were delighted to welcome local alpacas Luke and King Kong from AlTreka.

The boys were given a tour of both Lister and Sherrington House Nursing Homes by their handlers to visit certain clients in their rooms and even made use of the lifts!

It was fantastic to see the smiles on everyone’s faces, especially as visits like these can have real therapeutic benefits.
