Local School Brightens Day at Lister & Sherrington House

Students from St Philips CE Academy in Lilycroft brought joy to Lister & Sherrington House Nursing Homes with a delightful visit. The children delivered a lively song performance, complete with engaging actions.

Both the children and residents had a wonderful time. The children were clearly enthusiastic while singing and performing, and their enjoyment was contagious, bringing smiles to the faces of our residents.

Building Bridges Between Generations

This heartwarming visit is part of our ongoing partnership with St Philips School through the Linking Network Intergenerational Linking programme. This fantastic initiative bridges the generation gap by fostering connections between young schoolchildren and older adults in care homes, promoting understanding and creating lasting bonds.
