Furry friends visit from Diggi’s Den
Angela and her adorable furry companions from Diggi’s Den brought smiles and heartwarming moments earlier today. The clients and staff were delighted by the animal therapy session, which featured gentle giant rabbits and adorable guinea pigs.
Animals have long been recognised for their therapeutic benefits, especially for the elderly. Interacting with animals can help reduce stress, anxiety, and loneliness, and can even improve physical health. The gentle presence of these fluffy creatures brought joy and comfort to everyone they encountered.
Angela’s furry friends include a white rabbit named Dorothy, a brown rabbit named Ben, and a multi-coloured guinea pig named Jack. These gentle animals were a welcome addition to the nursing homes, providing much-needed moments of happiness and relaxation.
Thank you, Angela and Diggi’s Den, for bringing so much joy to the nursing homes!
