Marking the 80th Anniversary of D-Day
Residents and staff at Lister and Sherrington House Nursing Homes came together yesterday to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
The nursing homes were adorned with festive decorations, including banners and balloons, to create a celebratory atmosphere. Staff and residents alike donned Union Jack bowler hats, adding a touch of wartime spirit to the occasion.
The day’s festivities included a lively game of WWII-themed bingo, followed by a special celebratory meal enjoyed by all.
