Spreading Joy with Furry Friends
Yesterday, Angela and her lovable companions from Diggi’s Den brought smiles and heartwarming moments to residents and staff at Lister & Sherrington House Nursing Homes. The visit featured gentle giant rabbits and adorable guinea pigs, offering a delightful animal therapy session.
For many, especially the elderly, interacting with animals has proven therapeutic. It can reduce stress, anxiety, and loneliness, even improving physical health. These fluffy creatures brought comfort and joy to everyone they met, their gentle presence a welcome addition to the nursing homes.
Thank you, Angela and Diggi’s Den, for spreading so much happiness!
