Sherrington House: Seed Potting for Summer

The green-fingered clients at Sherrington House Nursing Home have been busy this morning, getting ready for a vibrant summer! They’ve been diligently potting up seeds for a variety of summer plants, which will soon be bursting with colourful blooms and delicious edibles.

This activity is a wonderful way to engage the residents’ senses and spark conversation. Choosing seeds, feeling the potting mix, and nurturing the delicate seedlings fosters a sense of accomplishment and connection with nature.
